Reports 1946-1976.

The first two boxes contain reports of the day-to-day administration of the mission land, buildings, and business. After several general files, these are divided into Buildings and Maintenance and Business and Supply. Buildings and Maintenance is further divided into builders, caretakers, guest houses, and joinery. Business and Supply, after some general files, is divided into plantations, sawmills, special projects, transport and communications, and workshops. Boxes 3-5 contain reports from districts, circuits, and stations. Each district has a general report, individual reports from its circuits and stations, and a report of its women's work. They are arranged alphabetically within districts. The districts included are Chimbu, Goroka, Hagen, Kâte, Lai, and Madang. Box 6 contains medical reports arranged alphabetically by name of town or institution. The remainder of Box 6 and all of Box 7 contain school reports. These are further divided into Area Schools, District Schools, English Schools, Girls Schools, High Schools, Teacher Training Schools, Vocational Schools, District Bible Schools, Church Middle Schools, Pastors Courses, and Seminaries.

The American Lutheran Church (1961-1987) was formed by the merger of the American Lutheran Church (1930-1960), the Evangelical Lutheran Church and the United Evangelical Lutheran Church. Representatives from each of the constitutent churches formed the Joint Union Committee in 1950 to effect the merger. Presidents of the constituent bodies at the merger were Henry F.
